Global Centre of excellence for Rotary transfer systems
Official opening day in Antweiler at May, 10th 2006
This includes now the former Rotary operations from Tinsley, UK and Chalons, France and slip rings from Ahrweiler, Germany.
After months of efforts to build up a new building for the staff of the global rotary transfer system business and a smooth and quick move where all hands worked fast and effectively, the sales design and administrative departments of Morgan Rekofa moved from Ahrweiler 35 km to Antweiler in Germany. This and the integration of the former Tinsley UK and Chalons, France operation created the new Centre of Excellence for Rotary Current Transfer units from where all worldwide activities are operated.
On May 10 it was time to celebrate. We could look back on a profitable growth in the last 4 years where we doubled the sales compared to 2002. A tent had been erected on the parking lot; food was ordered and for the music had been taken care. The whole day, the sun shone and the weather was perfect. Not only the employees were invited, but as well the head of the district, Dr. Jürgen Pföhler, the local mayors, several suppliers and customers, Press from the newspapers and the radio – and, last but not least – Mark Lejman and Steve G. Jones. Mark Lejman impressed the audience with a speech in fluent German – not his native language - where he highlighted the efforts and commitment of all of the employees to achieve this success and create this new Centre of Excellence. Klaus Hoffmann, the managing director of the Rotary business, expressed his thanks to the employees for their efforts and their performance, which was the base for the success in the last 4 years. Instead of presents, the guests were asked to give an offering for a social project in a third world country
