New developments in the field of optical waveguides - Optical waveguide technology

Thanks to our engineers' ongoing work of further development, we have succeeded in promoting a new trend in the field of data transmission!  In future we will be able to transmit data at up to 100 MBps and more, via our standard modular system "SM" - and to guarantee this!

Suitable in particular for FastEthernet (ProfiNet) transmission!  In recent months we have received more and more requests for rotary transmission  of FastEthernet,  in industrial plants too. We are now meeting these market demands and aim to market this further development worldwide!

In addition, a further project is being planned that will allow us to also transmit FastEthernet data at the same rate via optical waveguide, as from  summer 2005. The plans for a prototype for this are well under way!  Here we can naturally draw on our five years' (and more) experience in the field of data transmission via optical waveguide. Rotary transmission of Interbus and Profibus data via rotary distributors from Morgan-Rekofa GmbH has already been possible for some time and is being given a very good reception by industry! We use compact printed circuit boards from our own production, for both the existing rotary distributor generation that is naturally being further developed and marketed, and for the new generation. This enables us to transmit "fresh" signals to your further periphery so that you as customer suffer no data loss through the rotary distributor! Our customers in the optical waveguide sector appreciate these products in particular due to the very high data quality and the compact design.

We are convinced that we have once again read the "signs of the times" with this new development and have once again anticipated global acceptance, given the high levels of interest already shown.
