Optical waveguides

Continuously rotating light transmission by glass fibre or plastic (POF)

The slip ring transmitters from Morgan-Rekofa can be equipped with a 1-way, 2-way or 4-way optical transmitter. The optical data signals are transmitted to rotating units contact-free and without interference.

The passive 2-way or 4-way optical system can be equipped with optical waveguides and repeaters to meet the customers' various requirements. Thanks to the excellent EMC properties of our optical systems we achieve ideal, interference-free data transmission.

Combination with other MR products presents no problems.

Optical waveguide  -  systematic control

The data are processed by the SUPI3OPC amplifier boards employed by MR. In addition, the rotary distributor is automatically assigned its own address in the customer's system, thereby considerably simplifying diagnostics.
